About the Irish Cottage Inn

Irish Cottage Inn

We opened in August 2007, after a 6 month total renovation. The Irish Cottage Inn caters to all walks of life! The outside's main feature is an authentic thatch roof, installed by "master thatcher" Colin McGhee, from Scotland. The Exterior walls are a cultured field stone, very similar to an Irish field stone.

Once inside, there are 4 main areas to serve you. Our family dining room, (known as "The Franklin Room" after the historical photos of this once mighty mining town) is located well away from the bar area, with comfortable banquet booth seating, and a cosy fireplace. The front dining room feature's high top tables with bar stools, for thos who want that pub atmosphere! The room features many authentic Irish photos taken by Annette Maleney Pelaez of "Through Irish Eyes" (visit her website on the links page)

The main bar area features a custom built mahogny bar. There are also authentic whiskey barrels altered to serve as high top tables. The Irish Cottage Inn has its own private party room, it has its own bar, bathrooms and seperate sound system. So no matter the occasion, check out our party menus when planning your next event. Placed throughout the Restaurant & Bar are 15 HD Plasma TV's. So no matter where your are sitting you will never have to miss a play of the big game!
